We’re so happy you’re here. Before placing an order, please take a moment to read our friendly terms. They simply explain how our personalised books are made, how delivery works, and what you can expect from us.
Personalised Books Made Especially for You
Every Rebel Rio book is created one-of-a-kind using the details you provide.
Because of this important part of how we work:
Each book is printed on demand, specifically for your order
Your order is sent directly to our printing partner (Lulu.com) shortly after purchase
Production begins quickly and cannot usually be paused or changed once started
Cancellation & Refund Policy (Important)
Once your order has been sent to print or entered production, it can no longer be changed, cancelled, or refunded.
This is because your book is already being physically printed and made specifically for you.
Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Section 28(3)(a)), personalised and made-to-order products are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.
When can an order be cancelled?
We understand mistakes can happen, so:
If you contact us very quickly after ordering, we may be able to cancel your order
However, because production begins rapidly, this window is often very short
Once your order has entered production, cancellation is no longer possible
If you spot a personalisation mistake, please email us immediately at rebelriobooks@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to help before printing begins.
We reserve the right to refuse personalisation
To keep Rebel Rio safe, positive, and child-friendly, we may refuse or request changes to any personalisation that includes:
Offensive or inappropriate language
Harmful or discriminatory content
Content unsuitable for children
If this happens, we’ll contact you to offer an alternative. If we cannot agree on suitable wording, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
Delivery & Production Time
Your book is printed and bound by our trusted printing partner, then shipped via UPS Tracked with Signature for peace of mind.
Most orders are produced and ready to ship within 6–7 working days
Delivery times may vary depending on courier and location
You will receive tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched
We’ll always keep you updated if anything affects your order.
If Your Book Is Lost in Transit
Because we use fully tracked UPS delivery, lost parcels are very rare.
However, if UPS confirms your parcel cannot be located after investigation:
We will reprint and resend your order at no cost to you
Just email us at rebelriobooks@gmail.com and we’ll handle it for you.
Damaged or Printing Errors
If your book arrives damaged or there is a printing or production issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
We will always make it right, which may include:
A free replacement
Or another suitable resolution depending on the issue
Your Responsibility as the Customer
To help ensure everything goes smoothly, please:
Double-check all spelling and personalisation before ordering
Ensure your delivery address is correct
Monitor your tracking once your order has shipped
We cannot offer refunds for errors made during checkout (such as spelling mistakes or incorrect details entered).
